Marriage Picture Ephesians 5:22-33
Yesterday, Shanna and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. It has been a great 12 years with many memories. Yesterday, we discussed many of those memories, the moves from Michigan to Texas to Arkansas and eventually to North Carolina, the four children we have been blessed with, the defining moments and more. We rejoice in what God has done, but we also look forward to what He still has for us. Our desire is for our marriage to be exactly what God intends for it to be. That is something I recently preached about in a message at Southbridge. The message was called: Marriage Picture.
When I think of marriage pictures I think of my own wedding pictures. Did you know that God intends our marriages (not just our weddings) to be a picture of His love relationship with us? Husbands and wives each have a significant role in painting this picture and fulfilling God’s plan for their marriage. In this message we look at what is expected of husbands and wives in painting this picture. At the end you will be given an opportunity to recommit to your spouse through vows written from the passage we look at Ephesians 5:22-33.
