About Scott
When I trusted Jesus as a Senior in High School I told God there were only two things I would not do. First, I would not go to a Christian College. Second, I would not go into full-time ministry. I learned to never tell God no. God led me with motives to find a Christian wife to Cedarville University in Ohio (a Christian College). Before leaving for Cedarville I met my sweetheart and now wife, Shanna. While I was in college God called me into full-time ministry.
Even after being called into ministry I was not in love with the church. Slowly, God began to reveal to me that the local church is His plan for reaching the world. It is the only organization that has the promise that the gates of Hell will not prevail against it. While attending Dallas Theological Seminary God began to move in my wife and my heart concerning church planting. About five years ago we moved to Raleigh North Carolina, a city we had never lived in before to begin Southbridge Fellowship. Southbridge is a church with a simple mission of connecting people to Jesus Christ for life change. We desire to see a city redeemed for the glory of God. I serve at Southbridge as the Lead Pastor. On this blog I will share about visionary leadership, church planting, and theology.
Scott holds a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary and is the father of four girls: Ella, Ava, Janie and Gracie.
